Krakow to Paris

Today is our last day in the wondrous city of Krakow. We've seen so much of the city and yet, there was still so much more that we didn't have time for. Despite that, we took the day and just moved step by step. We had a nice late brunch at a surprisingly delicious spot which had both European and American styled foods. After we enjoyed out little slice of America, we took a stroll through town and saw some of the places and castles and churches before we said our final goodbye's to Poland. Next stop: Paris, France! Also known as 'Peri-Peri' but foodies and backpackers alike. We landed somewhat in the middle of the day. About one-ish we were on our way to our rent-a-home. The train ride was certainly tighter than the ones in Zurich. The people also seemed more enthusiastic. Some would play instruments, others would sing and if you were generous enough to spare some change, you'd likely receive a rather warm: 'Merci'. As we left the train station from the underground to the sidewalk, I found myself wondering: "Since when does 20 kilograms feel so ridiculously heavy?" Because I couldn't tell if it was the bags in my hands or the ones under my eyes; I still can't.

We eventually reach our rent-a-home and to our surprise the tour was even shorter than we speculated. Though the house didn't have enough room for a pool-table, it certainly had enough space for two bags of gas to spread out and knock out.We took a nap for a refreshing 20 seconds before our stomachs crashed the party. We then spilled out onto the street in search of sustenance. Thanks to my Uncle's fine planning skills, we had reservations at a fairly famous establishment that was well known for their delectable menu. The only difficulty being that if you didn't eat pork, you were going to try your luck guessing foods in French. Just as every meal before, each meal was just as fantastic as the last. Whether it be pork, fish, lamb, beef or stew, if you're eating food in Europe then there will always be something for you.
This is the beginning of our next adventure, lets hope we find mice in the kitchen but not in the food!
