Some time has certainly passed since the last blog entry. The last few days have been spent on adjusting to jet lag and a bit of rural exploration. But today marks the beginning of a historical venture that I believe will both amaze and leave you in awe. Today we are going to visit the city of Krakow, Poland! We intend to see he local architecture, learn about the history and the culture of this new land. Right off the bat you can tell this is a place for meat lovers of all ages (Phrasing). They have sausages, meat soups of many varieties, lamb, poultry, veil and much more. For all those who prefer a more vegetable oriented meal, they have mushroom, potatoes, celery, tomatoes and anything else that can be pulled from the ground and boiled! There isn't just food though. Here in Krakow there are so many forms of entertainment. If you prefer a night on the town there are more than enough breweries to drown even the hardiest of drinkers. If you happen to be a music lover (Like myself) then there are clubs a plenty for you to dance the night away. Lucky for me, by some miracle, there happened to be a live jazz performance in a really cool underground club. I certainly took the chance and found some rather interesting performances. From only a single day there seems to be so much going on in this city. Tonight we are dining at a place called "Dawno Temu Na Kazimierzu" which happens to live up to the hype! They served traditional meals that focused more on the quality without skipping on quantity. If you don't have a thing for red meat, I have some news for you: "Mushrooms will become your best friend! They are the poultry of the earth!" Thanks for reading and I'll be sure to let you know where we end up next.
